Busy Week in the Technology of Beauty

17 Aug

This week brought lots of beauty studies and stories to the forefront – the good news is that there are so many choices to help everyone get and stay beautiful.  We started out this week with our CoolSculpting study.  The non-invasive procedure is highly effective at reducing subcutaneous fat volume and is associated with few adverse events. The results of our study are published in the August issue of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.

CoolsculptingMore news about CoolSculpting today in this great article in the Los Angeles Times.  It’s amazing how popular it has become, and the price is right for those of you who have been frustrated about not losing those last few inches of fat – check out CoolSculpting here – www.freezethefat.com.

torrey pinesThis weekend, I am in Torrey Pines, CA, at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Meeting.  We have launched a new campaign called, “Knowledge is a Beautiful Thing,” with Smart Beauty Guides to help patients learn as much as possible about plastic surgery procedures.  You can pick up brochures at our office to learn more.

Have a wonderful weekend!  WGS

Breast Lifts – It’s all About Timing

6 Aug

Many womlnav-image-breasten feel higher self-esteem in their bras than out of them. This is often due to the modern bra’s ability to lift and add volume with a few simple hook-eye closures hidden by lace.

Pouring your sagging breasts into a bra every morning and watching as they fall the moment that you remove your lingerie every night isn’t the answer. And no amount of diet or exercise – nor creams or pills – can tone and shape your breasts. Breast lift surgery using The Stevens Laser Bra may provide the enduring solution you seek. The Laser Bra is an innovation in breast lift surgery that uses a laser to create an internal brassiere that lifts and shapes drooping breasts.

Often, patients we see for breast lifts have postponed surgery due to the bra’s ability to hide the need for lifts. But after the procedure, we hear a lot of them saying they wish they hadn’t waited so long to get their bodies back.

Toss that bra and get a breast lift instead.  You’ll be glad you did.

Best, WGS
