Is Fat Grafting Right for You?

Big strides have been made in the area of fat grafting recently.  Where gathering fat during liposuction was the only way it was performed for fat transfer photoquite awhile (and the fat discarded), it became apparent that  there are a lot of uses for fat.  It can make a higher better butt, provide breast augmentation and it even works as filler for the face.  There is even reason to believe that fat cells rich in stem and regenerative cells may increase the survival of the transferred stem cells.

The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), a joint task force between the ASAPS and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), says while there is great potential for the use of stem cells, there is not enough evidence and there needs to be greater study.

If you are interested in fat grafting or transfer, please read this article and watch the video from American Health and Beauty.  Then give us a call and set an appointment to see if this procedure is right for you.
