GRANT STEVENS, MD, FACS Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery University of Southern California Dr. Grant Stevens is the founder and Medical Director of Marina Plastic Surgery and the Orange Twist Institute, a Medical Spa in Marina Del Rey, California.   9. Skin tanning and the extra exposure to the sun has causes a lot of skin disease over time. You never know as the small defect might be the fatal cancer . I think the stuff is most useful for all those living in cold countries, specially who are in the British winter.

  11. Thanks for the information! I’ve thought about scheduling an appointment for laser resurfacing. I used to spend a lot of time outside when I used to work as a lifeguard throughout high school and college. Like you said, spending a lot of time in the sun without sunscreen can cause a lot of damage to your skin. Now that I’m in my fifties, I can see all of the damage all of that time in the sun has done to my skin. It seems like a good idea to look into laser treatments to get rid of my age spots and wrinkles.
