“Men told me that they wanted less hair on their backs and more hair on their heads, which led to the development of this exclusively male medical spa,” said Dr. Stevens. He added that boomers especially are not content to go bald and flabby. “Men come to Marina ManLand with a desire to look younger and feel better about their appearance. A man wears his resume on his face, and as he ages, the job market shrinks. Not only does facial rejuvenation, new hair growth and wrinkle removal improve looks, they also give a big boost to self esteem,” Dr. Stevens added. “We like to say Marina ManLand is where a man can feel good about looking great!”

Marina ManLand offers injectables like BroTox, high speed laser hair removal, fat reduction with CoolSculpting and painless NeoGraft hair replacement. Custom medical facials, skin tightening procedures like Ultherapy and the Halo laser are offered, as well miraDry treatments that permanently stop underarm sweat and odor.

Since 1997, the number of cosmetic procedures for men has risen almost 275 percent and according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, in 2013, men had more than one million cosmetic procedures. The “just for men” Marina ManLand location reflects this trend and features an atmosphere that evokes a cross between a sports bar and a smoking lounge. Leather chairs and flat screen televisions signify a relaxing atmosphere. Male clients use a separate entrance and exit.

Marina ManLand’s highly trained and skilled staff of physician assistants and aestheticians provide integrated medical and aesthetic services to men of all ages and skin types.
