All About Vaginal Rejuvenation

More than ever, women are empowered to decide for themselves how their bodies look, feel and function. Even the most intimate areas of a woman’s anatomy can be sculpted and refined to enhance her sensuality, invigorate her sexuality and maybe even invite a sense of sexual prowess. All this and more is possible for vaginal rejuvenation / labia reduction patients from Beverly Hills and Los Angeles.

Labia reduction is not a new procedure, but is receiving fresh attention now that so many women are determined to seize their sexuality and discuss issues affecting their sex lives with their doctors. If you suffer from extended or stretched labia that are uncomfortable, cause embarrassment, hygiene frustration or are even painful during sex, labia reduction surgery can alleviate these problems. Your vagina can be a beautiful declaration of your taste and style rather than an impediment or humiliation.

Labia reduction is a procedure to reduce the size and length of the labia minora (the inner lips) and/or the labia majora (the outer lips). The labia minora are necessary to cover the clitoris and vaginal opening and can be surgically reduced while still maintaining their necessary function. Also known as labiaplasty, this procedure can help women who experience pain, humiliation and hygiene problems due to large and protruding labia. The labia majora can also be decreased in size by reducing fat deposits.

If you were born with very thin labia or if you’ve lost volume over time or due to trauma, labia rejuvenation and labia repair can enhance your labia and add overall shape to the outer areas of your vagina. A pubic lift can also be performed when the pubic area descends or collapses downwards due to weight fluctuation or age. This procedure raises the entire area by surgically removing excess skin and fat from the region and then re-draping the skin to lift the pubic appearance.
