Rachel’s Breast Augmentation and Liposuction

When Rachel first considered breast augmentation and liposuction in Los Angeles, she admits that she felt “extremely nervous” about surgery. Like so many women, she longed to wear “cute backless shirts” and bikinis in warm weather.

All it took to change her fears was a consultation with Dr. Grant Stevens, a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in Los Angeles plastic surgery and the Medical Director of Marina Plastic Surgery Associates.

Her Consultation

After Rachel explained her cosmetic goals, Dr. Stevens skillfully examined her. “He discussed realistic expectations. He made me feel very comfortable. I immediately knew I was definitely in the right hands,” says Rachel. She decided that Los Angeles liposuction and breast augmentation were ideal options for the appearance she wanted.

Day of Surgery

On the morning of her surgery, she recalls that as she entered the building, the OR Director, Catherine, “made me feel a lot more relaxed and quickly excited about my surgery experience. I got dressed into my gown, got my pre-surgery pictures taken, and met with Dr. Stevens once again for a final consult to address all my concerns. “

“One of the biggest fears I had about getting surgery was being put under anesthesia. That fear diminished the moment I met the anesthesiologist,” says Rachel. Her anesthesiologist “was communicating with me a lot, was extremely compassionate, and had an amazing bedside manner – all of which kept me nice and relaxed.”

Rachel’s experience after her surgery proved to be equally soothing. “When I woke up from surgery, one of the nurses from Serenity (a surgery after-care facility) came to pick me up and take me back to their facility. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel! Best of all, my family knew that by my electing an aftercare facility, I was in THE best of hands the night of surgery – so that made my family extremely reassured for my safety.” The “extremely attentive” nurses made Rachel comfortable, and the staff at the aftercare facility even drove her back to Marina Plastic Surgery Associates the next day. After her post-surgery exam, Rachel returned home, delighted to discover that her pain was minimal.

“My breasts were just sore to the touch, and the liposuction felt like I just worked out too hard at the gym. I barely needed to take any of my pain medication! I was very impressed,” she reflects.

Her Results

Rachel describes herself as truly “thrilled with my results! My breasts look wonderful, and now I can finally wear cute backless shirts…without a bra. I was naturally a 34C and I went up to busty 34D.” She feels that her body now looks “exactly” how she wanted. “I now get compliments by my family and friends all the time telling me how great I look. I cannot wait for summer to come around so I can show off my new curves in my bikini!” adds Rachel.

“Overall, my surgery was one of the best decisions I have ever made,” says Rachel. “I am beyond happy with my results, and that is all because of Dr. Grant Stevens and his amazing team!”
